The commissioning process is the vital part of the furniture design Initially, Niall meets with the client, either at home or at the office to view the intended setting of the piece. This gives the information needed to produce sketches and drawings of the proposed design, a written specification and quotation of the cost.

Clients are encouraged to visit the workshop and view the work in progress so that they can see the detailed and precise craftsmanship which goes into bespoke furniture, and feel involved in its creation.
